Food is art, art is food. Tahanan is a tale of time, told through the language of food. 
BRIEF
Tahanan needed to clarify their brand positioning as the line between too casual and too sophisticated was blurred and undefined. They sought after a rebrand that establishes their brand as a fine dining restaurant, set in the comfort of their home.
APPROACH
I led the concept and identity of the brand alongside our team's strategist and designer. Our creative direction reflects the reinvention of classic, cultural favorites into a modern concept that celebrates people are at the centre of dining. 
Logo — A wordmark that reflects the concept of home through its composition and build
Colors — Our color palette is deep, rich, and rooted in familiar, masterfully crafted flavors
Typography — Our set of typefaces is rustic and genuine, evoking a handwritten invitation to an intimate dinner paired with a tall, geometric sans with a unique build and a mono font to depict a typewritten effect
Key Visuals — Time, tradition, and Tahanan:
— Time: Duo-tone photography symbolizes the passage of time
— Tradition: Hand-drawn illustrations honor traditional recipes with a fresh perspective
— Tahanan: Wooden textures reflect Tahanan’s architecture and the warmth of home
